This is my paint stick, it was very unique because I spent a lot of time painting it carefully and took my time. It was fun looking up our name or words and changing them to hieroglyphs.

I picked these words, life family and friends because, those words describe me! They describe me because I love my family, and my friends. They're a big part of my life, too! Well, one problem was that, the pharaoh is tilted, or on an angle. I decided to just leave it like that because it still looks awesome! Another problem is that I was painting with water colors, and it like went on the sides. It was hard to control, but I did it! No, it doesn't look like a real egyptian tablet. But that's ok, because I wanted it to look different. I didn't want it to look a million years old. I also didn't realize that the silver would be so silvery. That's okay, I'm in love with my tablet, and it was sooooo fun to make!!

This is my dot map so far. I'm trying to draw my neighbor hood, and how my neighbors always bug us...
This was so fun to make! It was hard thinking of what to make, because I haven't really been anywhere special. So I decided to do the story of when my neighbor's ( I think they have an animal problem, the have like 10 dogs) dogs all came over into my yard, and my outdoor cat chased it away. It was weird because usually it's the other way around. Anyways, my cat is super fat and I found it funny that he could chase a dog and make it run away. I had a hard time with the dirt road, and what color to make the dots. So I chose yellow, and I decided to put brown inside of the yellow dots, kind of like to tame it. The big black dots with white in the middle are the houses on my road. The long strip of black with purple dots is M-66. This painting is designed to look like my road, Evergreen Road. We have a trail to a lake on our road considering it's a dead end. This painting was a challenge, and it made me become more creative. I had to really look and see what colors will go with what. I decided to use fall colors because, Evergreen road looks so pretty in the fall. I think I did a good job on it!
